Afik & Co. marks the date of birth of the founder of the city of Tel Aviv, the architect and urban planner Akiva Aryeh Weiss (December 11, 1868 – May 23, 1947), who was also the chairman of the committee of the " Ahuzat Bayit” ( Hebrew for “Building Society”) association, from the day it was founded in 1906 until 1910, the year in which it was renamed: Tel Aviv.
